OUR STORY
WHY BIOSCAPE WAS CREATED
Bioscape is my life's mission, and I'm so grateful to love what I do. Creating beautiful aquarium designs and specialising in aquarium installation results in rooms that incorporate a small slice of nature into that place. The fact that I've been able to witness first-hand how the aquarium services I provide can make a real difference to someone's life and mental health is really the cherry on top.
Bioscape came into existence after watching someone close to my heart struggles with mental health difficulties. Mental health issues are hard to cope with and almost as hard for friends and family to watch. I was desperate to help.
I noticed that when she was around nature, she was better. Going for regular walks, spending time outside and looking after our houseplants made an immediate difference to her state of mind. It became even more apparent when we got an aquarium. There was a noticeable improvement in her mental health when she spent time getting lost in the underwater world.
The beauty of the lush green plants, the gentle movements of the fish, the patterns in the water and the slow, steady pace of life in the tank seemed to help. And it got me thinking.
Aside from being beautiful to look at, the benefits of aquariums on mental health could benefit others. My passions for nature and interior design came together, and I realised that I could help others in the same way.
And so, Bioscape was born.

SAFETY
We are aware of the health and safety requirements surrounding tank installations and maintenance. We ensure that our work area is safe so that your staff and customers are kept safe at all times.
EXTENSIVE TRAINING
Our staff are trained to the highest standard and all have successfully completed the Ornamental Aquatic Trade Association (OATA) course and are accredited by the City and Guilds.
DEADLINE
We will provide you with a realistic timeline of delivery and installation works, and the completion deadline is vital to us. Still, rest assured we will not rush this process as quality work is more important than speed.
THE PROCESS:
IT'S AS EASY AS 1 - 2 -3...4-5-6!
STEP 1: STYLE
Choosing the design, style, shape and location of your aquarium is the most important stage in the process. We will explain all of the different options and variables available to you and listen to your needs. Together, we will identify the perfect aquarium for you.
STEP 4: FISH!
What's an aquarium without fish?! You will be able to pick from our pre-selected packages which have been assembled based on the advice of our fish and aquarium experts
STEP 2: FINISH
From wood to laminate to paint, there are hundreds of finishes to pick from. Whether you are looking for something soft and muted, or bright and bold, we can create the perfect surroundings for your custom aquarium.
STEP 3: AQUASCAPE
This is where we create a dynamic, exciting, evolving piece of living art. Based on your tastes, we will guide you and offer you a number of Aquascape options.
STEP 5:
IN THE BOX
This is where we start to think ‘outside the glass box. You are able to create mood and ambience using backlighting and we have a number of options to pick from. You also have the option of adding signage to your aquarium – an incredible branding opportunity.
STEP 6: OUT OF THE BOX
Add-ons that surround your aquarium, such as integrated seating and backsplashes, can take your aquarium to the next level. Let us show you some options.
Custom Designed and Custom Built
Our bespoke aquariums are as the name suggests: custom made for you or your organisation. They are designed with you in mind and built to complement your tastes and your surroundings.
We offer so many choices and options during the design of your aquarium, the possibilities are quite simply endless. We offer a full design service and even provide 2-3 concept drawings so you can see the end result before it is made.
You’d love an aquarium, but don’t have the space? You very likely do. We can find a solution to almost all your aquarium queries. Our experience combined with our bespoke designs create a solution for every circumstance.
Are you considering a certain finish but you’re not sure how it will look in person? We’ve got you covered! We have samples of the various laminates available, a living wall section, and mosses. This way you can touch and hold these products and really get a feel for them before making your final decision. Finally, let’s talk budget. We respect our clients and are committed to their satisfaction, therefore we always carefully calculate the exact cost of all materials, installation works and maintenance so the quote you receive is the price you pay.

AFTER HOURS AVAILABILITY
Whether it is for installation or maintenance, we offer afterhours service that is flexible and can meet the needs of youand your business.

We understand that reliability is an essential factor whenchoosing a contractor, and we take great pride in alwaysmeeting all installation and maintenance appointments.
ON SITE BUILD
Even if physical access to your room or building is tight, alarge aquarium is still possible. We offer a “build on-site “option so that larger aquariums need not be out of the questionin more confined areas.
